 1 Peter 2:9-10 Shared by Algenia H. in California In February 2005 was the beginning of what I would say was my new life in Christ Jesus although Now I know that He was with me all the time pulling at my heart strings wooing me with His Love. That month at that moment, Jesus became my refuge, my hiding place, my kinsman redeemer, my strength and so much more. My in my heart I was determined to seek His guidance and live for him. 1 Peter 2: 9-10 was the first text that opened my heart (mind) to receive Jesus as my savior. I truly danced with great joy as tears streamed down my face, I shared with my friend that although I was homeless, with no job and without my children I knew that I was Loved beyond measure and that we where going to be okay, She rejoiced with me. To this day I remember how my heart felt, what wonderful gift given in a time that I needed to be loved. March 26, of 2005 I was baptized. The WORD is self explanatory it is truth and it is life for those who seek, ask and thirst for the living water. |
